Questions
[ View/Ask ]We will start processing paperwork 5 business days after the auction ends to allow all participants to complete their payments across all individual auctions. This ensures that all auction winners can be handled collectively rather than individually.
This auction will conclude on September 12th, 2025.
On September 22nd, 2025. We will initiate paperwork collectively and vehicle title release will be scheduled for pickups accordingly, starting on or after September 25th.
After the auction concludes on September 12th, we will contact each winner via their email that is registered with PSA to confirm this process that is stated above.
All vehicles sold will be assessed sales tax to the winning bidder. The sales tax amount will be added AFTER the auction ends. Once the auction ends, the winning bidder will not be able to make payment immediately.
Because the sales tax amount is variable the County will go in after the auction ends and add the sales tax amount. The buyer will then be notified via email that they are awarded the item and will be able to pay for the item. The winning bidder MUST pay the sales tax amount owed on the auction unless they can prevent a valid state of Illinois tax exemption form.
COMMUNICATION WILL BE THROUGH THE PUBLIC SURPLUS WEBSITE ONLY AND QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED WITHIN 24 HOURS OR THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY, EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS. (NO PHONE CALLS)
