Rossville Consolidated School District is offering for sale a 2008 Chevrolet Uplander LS white van with approximately 37,591 original miles. RCSD is the second owner of the vehicle, having purchased it as a government surplus vehicle in 2018. The van was driven daily; however, it currently has several warning lights illuminated on the dashboard. A Chevrolet dealer has advised that the frame is rusted through and the vehicle is not considered roadworthy. The vehicle does run.

Terms and Conditions of Sale
All property offered for sale by the Rossville Consolidated School District (RCSD) is sold “as-is, where-is.” RCSD makes no warranty, guarantee, or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, regarding the merchantability, condition, or fitness for any particular purpose of the property.
Descriptions of property are based on available information at the time of listing. RCSD does not guarantee the accuracy of these descriptions and will not be held responsible for any errors, omissions, or discrepancies regarding the condition or characteristics of the property.
All sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
RCSD reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Payment in full must be received within five (5) business days of receipt of the notice of award.
Any applicable taxes are not included in the bid price and are the responsibility of the buyer.
The buyer must remove the vehicle from RCSD premises within five (5) business days of payment or within ten (10) business days from the close of the auction, whichever comes first.
Property paid for but not removed within this time frame will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of at the discretion of RCSD.

RCSD may require bid deposits to ensure fairness.
PayMac handles all payments for RCSD. Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card. NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED! Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for removal or pick-up of item(s) from RCSD premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, the payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the RCSD will not release the item to you. The successful bidder will be responsible for the packing, loading and/or transporting of any item(s), if necessary. Pick-up hours by appointment only.
