Payment must be received within 5 calendar days of the auction ending. If the item(s) are not picked up within 10 business days of the auction ending, the item(s) may be re-awarded or relisted, and no refunds will be given. 



The winning bidder must make an appointment in order to pick items up. All appointments need to be scheduled & confirmed with Building Services Office Manager @ (574)-262-5690 or emailing spaulson@elkhart.k12.in.us (Sara Paulson). Pickups will NOT be permitted without an appointment. Pickup hours are: Monday -Friday between 8:00am-1:30pm. NO EXCEPTIONS.


The winning bidder is responsible for supplying proper manpower, equipment (i.e. dolly, hand truck, winch, lift, or other means), and appropriate vehicles for pickup.No equipment or manpower will be supplied by Elkhart Community Schools - NO EXCEPTIONS. You are required to pick up all items included in the auction. 

 

We do not ship items or accept any pre-paid shipping labels. If you are unable to pick up your auction winnings in person, you may specify a family member or friend to pick up the item for you. They must provide all documentation upon pick up of the item(s).


Elkhart Community Schools shall deny access to pick-up auction winnings if the bidder arrives unprepared to SAFELY remove said items within the time allocated for the pickup, regardless of distance traveled or under any other circumstances.


We retain the right to cancel the auction at any time and to accept or refuse any offers.



We retain the right to block any bidder as we see fit.

Elkhart Community Schools may require a bid deposit.

Pay Mac, Inc. handles all payments for Elkhart Community Schools.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.


Elkhart Community Schools may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
