A note about salvage/unclaimed titles: All titles issued to the police department on vehicles that have been impounded and not claimed are issued as "Unclaimed Salvage" per Ohio Revised Code. This designation does not indicate the condition or status of the vehicle. All titles in this auction are "Unclaimed Salvage" unless otherwise indicated. VEHICLES WITH "UNCLAIMED SALVAGE" TITLES CANNOT BE DRIVEN ON THE ROADWAY EXCEPT DIRECTLY TO AN INSPECTION AND MUST BE TOWED FROM OUR LOT. For more information regarding required vehicle inspections in the State of Ohio, visit https://services.dps.ohio.gov. For vehicles needing to be inspected in states other than Ohio, contact that state's Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Payment must be received within five (5) business days of the close of auction. Buyers can claim auction items 24/7 with no appointments necessary. All auction items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the close of auction. Items not retrieved within ten days will be presumed abandoned and re-auctioned. No refunds will be issued on any abandoned item.

The City of Trenton may require a bid deposit.
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Public Surplus may collect sales tax unless the Buyer has provided a valid tax-exempt certificate to Public Surplus prior to payment. If applicable, the sales tax will be visible during the bidding process and will be included in the payment specified. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price, with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium, if applicable, will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days from notification of award. The notice of award, paid receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up or the item will not be released.
