Meet Cruz, this vehicle is a 6 Liter (V8) with a 6-speed automatic transmission.  Current mileage is:  129,567.  Vehicle has power windows and power seats on the drivers side.  Power seat switch does not work.  It was last inspected in April,2025.  Heat and air conditioning works great.  Tires are in good condition.  Vehicle has minor scratches and dents.  Paint has some peeling on the front bumper.  Headliner is coming down in the vehicle.  The driver's door has a small rip on the arm rest, as well as the driver's seat.  Molding on the drivers side needs replacing.  Vehicle has a cage inside and has a rear seat.  Vehicle starts good and runs well.  One of the key fobs has a key missing.  Coin batteries may need to be replaced in remotes that are provided for this vehicle.
 
The Check Engine Light is on.  Diagnosed CEL due to engine misfire, found that cylinder 5 spark plug was loose enough to lose compression, tightened down all spark plugs. still have a ticking noise and mid rpm misfire occurring. inspected valve train with valve cover off. believe the source to be a worn cam lobe for cylinder 5 or cam roller at the lower part of the pushrod as well as the lobe.
 
On 1/25/24, Installed the new lower control arms and sway bar link on the driver side. Installed two new tires on the rear. Test drove the vehicle.  The vehicle ran well and drove great.  Installed a new battery that is located in the trunk.  Mileage:  124,791

On 2/25/24, Changed oil, and filter and rotated tires.  Mileage:  124,791

PayMac handles all payments for City of Roanoke. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

Virginia sales tax of 5.3% shall be added to all purchases made.

Buyers Premium: A 9% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 10 business days of notification by Public Surplus of auction award notice. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: Roanoke may require bid deposits.

The Property is sold and conveyed AS IS, WHERE IS, and without representation or warranty by the City of Roanoke.The bidder shall inspect and satisfy themselves as to the details and conditions of material offered.

The purchaser should inspect and, if necessary, repair/test all items prior to any use. Bidder agrees for and on behalf of bidder, bidder's heirs, successors and assigns that bidder shall indemnify and hold Roanoke harmless from and against any claim, demand or cause of action arising or alleged to have arisen out of the sale or failure to sell any item of surplus property including claims for personal or bodily injury, death or contract damages.

Any shipping or freight for any items sold shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer. (POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL NOT SHIP)
