All surplus items are sold in unknown condition, and there are no opportunities to schedule item viewings.
Items in the background of pictures may not be included in the auction. If you have a question about a certain picture and what is included, email hratliff@roanokecountyva.gov with the picture number and I will clarify. Winning bidder must take entire lot.

Acceptable forms of payment for non-vehicle auctions are credit and debit cards. Acceptable forms of payment for vehicle auctions are certified cashier's check or money order. All non-vehicle items are subject to a 5.3 percent Commonwealth of Virginia sales tax.
Auction Fee: An auction fee of 9% will be added to the final sale price and will be collected at the time of payment.
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
All property is offered "As is, where is" with no express or implied warranty. Most of the property is used. The stated condition of the property is solely an opinion of COR. However, COR makes no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, as to the condition or quality of the items offered or fitness for particular purpose or fitness for use in general. Under no circumstance will a refund or adjustment be made due to the property failing to meet buyer's expectations. There is no guarantee or warranty on the part of the COR as to condition or quality; or that the property offered, or a portion thereof, may not be withdrawn prior to the sale.
