[ View/Ask ]1992 Chevrolet Cheyenne 2500 4X4, this was a Parks Department vehicle and was used as such. There is no warranty, and it will be sold as-is. This vehicle has been serviced and repaired by our fleet services, service records available.
Mechanical: Engine runs well, has oil leaks from oil cooler lines. transmission shifts well. Transfer case in operating condition, 4X4 is operational, light inop in 4WD shifter, slight fluid leak from transfer case, and seeping fluid from rear pinion seal.
Body: Minor dents and scratches typical for a Parks vehicle. Holes have been drilled in the body for radio antenna and beacon. Body damage, multiple locations, hood has multiple dents just above the grill, driver and passenger doors (see photos) missing paint in multiple locations. Holes in top of bedside for removed lumber rack, damage to tailgate, including dings, scratches and bent tailgate corner at right lower corner. Missing tailgate handle bezel and poorly functioning tailgate handle. rear bumper not original, dent on the right side of bumper with multiple scratches. Small patch of rust just to the right of bed light on cab.
Interior: Vehicle has a dark blue interior, dark gray bench seat in fair condition. Holes have been drilled in the dash for radio equipment. Steering wheel has been taped, driver’s door arm rest bad, Dash has multiple cracks, missing fuse panel trim panel, driver’s seat belt frayed, and drivers buckle in poor condition. Damaged speaker grill in dash (drivers’ side) and the head liner is sagging.
Options: Not a lot, aftermarket radio, aftermarket gauge pod and rear anti-lock brakes. Missing spare tire and jack.

City of Port Townsend will charge a sales tax of 9.1% The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
