Meet Nugget, this vehicle is a beauty.  It is a 2.5 Liter, 170 HP and is AWD.  Current mileage is:  104,635.  The engine starts and runs great.  Tires are good.  Air Conditioner, Rear air conditioner and Heat works good.  This vehicle is also equipped with power mirrors, power windows, power door locks, rear backup camera, AM/FM/CD Player, and sirius radio. Just recently changed the oil, filter and replaced rear brakes in 1/2025.  Mileage at that time was:  96,201.  Last state inspection was 2/2025.  Vehicle has some minor scratches, but are minimal.  Vehicle needs a good cleaning.  Coin batteries may need to be replaced in remotes that are provided for this vehicle.

  • Inspections of all items are the sole responsibility of the bidder. Viewing times will need to be scheduled and due to Covid 19 will be limited in numbers of people, times of day and days of the week.
  • No vehicle will be allowed to be driven! Asset will be allowed to be started looked etc.  No test operation will be permitted
  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to have the appropriate hauling equipment for the items(s) being picked up.  No assistance will be offered in the loading or securing of the asset.
  • Buyers are responsible for positioning and securing the item(s) purchased on their transport vehicle. 
  • Listed known concerns are what have been observed by the business unit selling the item and have not been validated by a technician.  Areas not listed as known concerns or as none do not imply good or warranty as to the life or condition and only imply that a concern was not noticed by the previous user.
  • Removal of Goods must be completed or arranged within 10 days of the close of the auction.  After that date good or items will be considered abandoned and the property, title and ownership will revert back to the Seller, which shall have the right to resell.

PayMac handles all payments for City of Roanoke. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.

Virginia sales tax of 5.3% shall be added to all purchases made.

Buyers Premium: A 9% Buyer Premium shall be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.

All sales are final. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 10 business days of notification by Public Surplus of auction award notice. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: Roanoke may require bid deposits.

The Property is sold and conveyed AS IS, WHERE IS, and without representation or warranty by the City of Roanoke.The bidder shall inspect and satisfy themselves as to the details and conditions of material offered.

The purchaser should inspect and, if necessary, repair/test all items prior to any use. Bidder agrees for and on behalf of bidder, bidder's heirs, successors and assigns that bidder shall indemnify and hold Roanoke harmless from and against any claim, demand or cause of action arising or alleged to have arisen out of the sale or failure to sell any item of surplus property including claims for personal or bodily injury, death or contract damages.

Any shipping or freight for any items sold shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer. (POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL NOT SHIP)
