Double A Model QF-02-0-10B3 pilot valve

Pilot valves are used to control larger, more powerful hydraulic valves. They act as a trigger, directing hydraulic fluid at a lower pressure to operate the main valve, which then controls the flow of fluid to a hydraulic actuator (like a cylinder or motor). In simpler terms, it's a small valve that controls a big valve.

Based on the labels in the provided images:

  • Manufacturer: Double A (a division of Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co.)

  • Location: Manchester, Michigan, U.S.A.

  • Model Number: QF-02-0-10B3

  • Type: Pilot Valve

  • Coil Number: 95-50400-32 (This refers to the solenoid coil that actuates the valve.)

  • Other Markings: "D115/60" likely indicates the voltage and frequency (115V, 60Hz) for the solenoid. The "P" and "A/B" markings on the valve body denote port connections.

This type of valve is commonly found in industrial hydraulic systems where precise control of fluid power is required.
