BIDS/SALES ARE RESTRICTED TO BIDDER LOCATED IN NORTH AMERICA

A completed and notarized Surplus Equipment Public Auction Affidavit must be submitted for EACH purchase prior to release of title/equipment. 

A legible copy of winning bidder's state issued photo identification is required to pick up items. 

If winning bidder is using a third-party to pick up items, a Signed and notarized Letter of Authorization requesting a 3rd party authorization pick-up of winning items on winning bidder's behalf, must be provided prior to pick-up.       

Winning Bidder MUST contact the Salvage Department @ salvage@cookcountyil.gov for information regarding scheduling an appointment for merchandise pick-up.

Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item. 
Bidder must furnish the labor and equipment to remove all auction items.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.

Sales Tax: Cook County may collect sales tax. If applicable, the sales tax will be visible during the bidding process and will be included in the payment specified.

Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL WITH NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. Public Surplus will notify Buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for shipping fees.
